Description
Responsibilities: 

Assists in the overall operation of the UMHB Campus Store. Interacts on a daily basis with students, faculty, staff, and campus guests and assists shoppers in selecting merchandise providing excellent customer service to enhance the retail experience. Processes sales, returns and other transactions in an accurate and timely manner. Performs inventory activities as assigned. Assists in purchasing, stocking and displaying merchandise. Helps in preparing and shipping of store returns. Performs tasks related to the enhancement of overall store appearance including light housekeeping duties. Must be willing to work flexible hours.

Minimum Requirements: 
  1. A high school diploma or GED equivalency is required.
  2. A minimum of 1-year employment experience in a retail environment is required.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office for Windows applications (word processing, database, spreadsheet, e-mail, presentation graphics, etc.) is required.
  4. Proficiency in calculator – cash register operation is required.
  5. Proficiency in general office equipment operation is required.
  6. Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint Designer is preferred.
  7. Must possess exceptional time management and detail-orientation skills.
