Description
Responsibilities: 

Reviews invoices for accuracy and completeness. Verifies all addresses and Federal ID numbers of vendors.  Verifies coding, reviews invoices and requisitions for satisfactory approvals.  Issues checks and assembles checks and related paperwork to be submitted to the Controller for signatures.  Performs basic clerical duties associated with accounts payable.  Posts journals, ledgers and other records.  Assist in the review and preparation of student payroll.  

Minimum Requirements: 
  1. A High School Diploma or GED is required. Completion of college coursework or formal training in a business field is preferred.
  2. A minimum of one (1) year experience in accounting or bookkeeping. Experience in accounts payable activities is strongly preferred.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office for Windows applications (word processing, database, spreadsheet, e-mail, presentation graphics, etc.) required.
  4. Proficiency in general office equipment operation is required.
  5. Must possess exceptional time management and detail-orientation skills.
