Description
The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor seeks qualified Christian employees for this position. 

Responsibilities:  Using various HR records management systems and processes, provides support for a variety of records management activities, including data entry, records creation, records audits, electronic conversion and archiving, and related activities.  Generates accurate reports, including graphs and charts.  Maintains assigned budgets.  Performs a variety of recruiting activities, including posting approved jobs, scheduling interviews, facilitating skills assessments, placing ads in approved locations, processing applications, reference and background checks, sending rejection letters, travel arrangements and reimbursements, and setting up and archiving folders in the employment application system for hiring supervisors and search committees. Provides support to HR managers with various activities, including benefits records and enrollment/disenrollment activities, Worker’s Compensation activities, monthly billing reconciliation activities, sending and tracking faculty contracts, and related projects.  Manages assigned employee events and   facilitates all required activities associated with events (requires evening hours 3 times each year). 
 
Minimum Requirements: 
  • Must be an active and committed Christian who will support the University’s mission and who will be an active participant in their local church.
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.  Some college course completion is preferred.
  • At least three (3) years full-time employment experience in a records/data, secretarial or similar office support position is required.  Experience supporting multiple people is preferred.
  • Experience with records management software systems is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office for Windows applications (word processing, database, spreadsheet, e-mail, presentation graphics, etc.) is required.
  • Must be proficient in general office equipment operation.
  • Must possess exceptional time management and detail-orientation skills.
  • Must agree to the University’s Employee Statement of Understanding.
