Description
The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor seeks qualified Christian employees for this position.
Responsibilities: Provides supervision of assigned residence hall. Monitors, inspects and maintains the residence hall to assure safety, hygiene and policy compliance. Assists residents with all aspects of residence life. Maintains appropriate documentation. Responds to emergencies and incidents within the residence hall. Maintains close communication with other areas of campus to ensure continuity of services for students.

Minimum Requirements:
- Must be an active and committed Christian who will support the University’s mission and who will be an active participant in their local church.
- A high school diploma or GED equivalency is required. A Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years full time employment experience in business, human services or similar is required. A master’s degree in a related field and related part-time experience may be considered in lieu of full time experience.
- Experience working with young adults is strongly preferred.
- Basic competency in Microsoft Office for Windows applications (word processing, database, spreadsheet, e-mail, presentation graphics, etc.) is required.
- Proficiency in general office equipment operation is required.
- Must possess exceptional time management and detail-orientation skills.
- Must possess a current and valid Texas driver’s license and meet qualifications for UMHB driver certification.
- Must possess or be able to immediately obtain CPR certification.
- Must reside in private apartment within assigned residence hall. (Spouse/dependents may be allowed as space and occupancy regulations allow.)
- If assigned to a gender-specific residence hall, must be of the same gender as the residence hall students (bona fide occupational qualification, in accordance with Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964) in order to provide supervision of students in common bathroom/shower areas and to provide emergency assistance to students in common bathroom/shower areas 24 hours a day. This qualification is to assure that the privacy and dignity of the student residents is respected.
- Must agree to the University's Employee Statement of Understanding.
