Description
The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor seeks qualified Christian employees for this position.

Responsibilities: Assists the Head Coach with facilitating the strength and conditioning training of university student-athletes. Responsible for assisting the Head Coach with the design and implementation of training programs for each university athletic program.  Assists the Head Coach with facilitating the development of exercise routines and nutritional intake, exercise supervision, tracking student-athlete progress and adjusting exercise plans and programs accordingly. 
 
Minimum Requirements: 
  1. Must be an active and committed Christian who will support the University’s mission and who will be an active participant in their local church.
  2. A Bachelor’s degree in exercise science or related field is required.
  3. A minimum of one (1) year experience as a strength and conditioning coach is required.  Coaching at the collegiate level is preferred. 
  4. CSCS or SCCC certified and possess up to date CPR/AED certification must be attained within 9 months of initial hire and maintained thereafter to remain eligible for continued employment in this position. 
  5. Knowledge of NCAA and Conference rules and regulations is required.
  6. Basic competency in Microsoft Office for Windows applications (word processing, database, spreadsheet, e-mail, presentation graphics, etc.) is required. 
  7. Proficiency in general office equipment operation is required.
  8. Must possess exceptional time management and detail-orientation skills.
  9. Must possess a valid Texas driver’s license and be insurable by UMHB auto insurance carrier.
  10. Must agree to the University's Employee Statement of Understanding.
