Description
The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor seeks qualified Christian employees for this position.

Responsibilities: Responsible for the coordination of assigned campus-sponsored events and meetings to include event scheduling, event setup, event calendar publication, room configuration, and coordination with support services (which may include food services, custodial services, audio/video services, security services and related activities). Facilitates tours for potential events and arranges meetings for customers (within the parameters of University philosophy and availability). Maintains schematics of all venues/event room layouts on campus. Provides excellent customer service and supervises for safety at all times. Frequent evening, weekend, and overtime hours required.
 
Minimum Requirements: 
  1. Must be an active and committed Christian who will support the University’s mission and who will be an active participant in their local church.
  2. An associate degree from an accredited college or completion of equivalent college coursework is required. A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  3. A minimum of two (2) years’ employment experience in event coordination, facilities management or similar field is required, to include facilities set up, space configuration, moving/storing heavy furniture and equipment, etc.
  4. A minimum of one (1) year experience in staff supervision is required.
  5. Proficiency in delivering excellent customer service is essential.
  6. Experience in operating forklift, boom lift and similar equipment is strongly preferred.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office for Windows applications (word processor, database, spreadsheet, e-mail, presentation graphics, etc.) is required.
  8. Competency in space configuration software/schematics is strongly preferred.
  9. Must be proficient in general office equipment operation.
  10. Must possess exceptional time management and detail-orientation skills.
  11. Must possess a valid Texas driver’s license and be insurable by UMHB auto insurance carrier.
  12. Must agree to the University's Employee Statement of Understanding.
