Description
Responsibilities:  
Provides comprehensive administrative support involving management of incoming phone calls, greeting and directing visitors, the drafting of reports and correspondence, coordination of requisitions and reconciliation of expenditures for the division, supervision of student workers, and management of special projects in direct support of the Office of the Provost & Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs.  Supports other staff and projects as assigned.  

 
Minimum Requirements: 
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • An Associate degree in a business-related field or completion of college/vocational courses in a business-related field is strongly preferred.
  • A minimum of three (3) years administrative assistant, secretarial or general office experience is required.  Experience supporting an administrative-level manager is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in grammar, punctuation, and spelling is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office for Windows applications (word processing, database, spreadsheet, e-mail, presentation graphics, etc.) is required.
  • A minimum of 55 wpm typing speed is required.
  • Proficiency in general office equipment operation is required.
  • Must possess exceptional time management and detail-orientation skills.
