Description
Responsibilities: 

Responsible for the daily management and oversight of the Bawcom Student Union Building and Crusader Stadium. Conducts frequent inspection of assigned facilities and coordinates maintenance, cleanliness and upkeep. Assures that all scheduled events in assigned facilities are well coordinated and well served. Assures proper staffing for Crusader Stadium events (parking attendants, ushers, etc.). Coordinates with other departments for needed services for events (i.e. security, A/V Services, Event Services, and Physical Plant). Effectively selects, trains, schedules and supervises part-time employees and student workers. Maintains an accurate schedule of events for assigned facilities. Performs periodic needs assessment, identification, proposal and purchasing of needed equipment, furnishings and other resources. Coordinates and/or facilitates assigned events and activities. This position requires some weekend and evening hours.

Minimum Requirements: 
  1. A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is required (prefer sport management, facilities management, business, or related field).
  2. A minimum of two (2) years full time employment experience in a closely related field is required.
  3. Competency in Microsoft Office for Windows applications (word processing, database, spreadsheet, e-mail, presentation graphics, etc.) required.
  4. Must be proficient in general office equipment operation.
  5. Must possess exceptional time management and detail-orientation skills.
