Description
Responsibilities: 

Performs assigned application software evaluation, installation, support and training to employees and students. Manages assigned inventories. Administers student e-mail and account services. Provides on-call support as assigned, including flexible work hours, evening hours, weekends and holidays, if required.

Minimum Requirements: 

1. A high school diploma or GED and at least 60 hrs. of completed college coursework are required, with at least 12 hrs. of completed college coursework in computer science or related field. Significant experience and technical training may be considered in lieu of college coursework.
2. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Exchange, and Windows Operating Systems is required.
3. Knowledge of Linux Operating System and Apple iOS is preferred.
4. Basic knowledge of TCP/IP network is required.
5. Experience in end-user orientation and training is strongly preferred.
6. Experience in developing user manuals, training courseware and operation procedures is strongly preferred.
7. Proficiency in general office equipment operation is required.
8. Must possess exceptional time management and detail-orientation skills.
9. Must be at least 21 years of age.
10. Must possess a current and valid Texas driver’s license and be insurable under UMHB auto policy.
