Description

The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor seeks qualified Christian employees for this position.

Responsibilities:  Performs and coordinates assigned landscaping, horticulture and grounds keeping activities to include landscaping, lawn and plant care, pest control, irrigation, grounds maintenance and related functions.  
 
Minimum Requirements: 
  • Must be an active and committed Christian who will support the University’s mission and who will be an active participant in their local church.
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalency is required.
  • Experience in grounds keeping/ landscaping or participation in school training programs or organizations related to horticulture or landscaping is preferred.  
  • Texas State Herbicide Pesticide license is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of hedge trimmers, weed eaters, pole saws, tillers and blowers.
  • Must possess a current and valid Texas driver’s license and be insurable under UMHB auto coverage.
  • Must agree to the Univeristy's Employee Statement of Understanding.
