Description
The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor seeks qualified Christian employees for this position.

Responsibilities: Responsible for oversight of the university’s Athletic Division, including staffing, athletics facilities, regulatory compliance with respect to intercollegiate athletics, and athletic program operations. Develops and sustains high quality athletic programs for the university. Assures that all assigned operations are in compliance with conference and NCAA rules at all times. Assures that the conduct of all Athletics Division employees complies with the university’s employee standards of conduct at all times, with particular emphasis on conduct that is in concert with the university’s Christian mission, vision, values and philosophy when interacting with students, parents, competitor teams, officials, and the community at large.

 
Minimum Requirements: 
  1. Must be an active and committed Christian who will support the University’s mission and who will be an active participant in their local church.
  2. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is required. A master’s degree is preferred.
  3. A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in Athletics program management
  4. Strong budget management experience and skills.
  5. A high level of critical, analytical, and creative thinking.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office for Windows applications (word processing, database, spreadsheet, e-mail, presentation graphics, etc.) is required. 
  7. Proficiency in general office equipment operation is required.
  8. Must possess exceptional time management and detail-orientation skills.
  9. Must possess a current and valid Texas driver’s license and be insurable under UMHB auto coverage.
  10. Must agree to the University's Employee Statement of Understanding.
