Description
Responsibilities: 

Set up, support and disassemble audiovisual and lighting equipment for university-approved events and facilities. This position will typically work a 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday shift and will require some varied hours and weekends during high-volume periods.

Minimum Requirements: 
  1. A high school diploma or GED is required. An Associate’s degree from an accredited university in an audio/visual or technology related field is preferred.
  2. A minimum of one (1) year experience in audiovisual and multimedia equipment set up and support in an employment, commercial, educational or similar environment is required.
  3. Experience working with audio consoles is required. Proficiency with audio mixing is strongly preferred.
  4. Experience working with DMX lighting systems is preferred.
  5. Competency in Microsoft Office for Windows applications (word processing, database, spreadsheet, e-mail, presentation graphics, etc.) is required.
  6. Proficiency in general office equipment operation is required.
  7. Must possess exceptional time management and detail-orientation skills.
  8. Must be at least 21 years of age.
  9. Must possess a current and valid Texas driver’s license and be insurable under UMHB auto policy.
